Solar Hot Water

A well designed solar hot-water (SHW) system can provide up to 70% of a household’s hot water requirement over the year. Installations can be completed by our teams of expert engineers in a single day. A £400.00 government grant is available to everyone and Local Authority grants and initiatives are also available in some areas.

Call Katherine on Freephone 0800 7814004 to request a survey or for further information.

Because most solar energy is available during the summer months SHW is generally not used for space heating. It is common that a house fitted with SHW can switch off their boiler entirely when space heating is not required.

The Gardeners shower room. This project was unusual because we used a larger solar collector and a 250 litre mains pressure hot water cylinder which provided hot water for a shower and space heating.
